Boring a friggin hole

Every time I try to rough a bore hole my tool rapids into my stock. What's causing this?

Ok, more pertinent question, how do I change where the tool begins and ends in the toolpath?

Seeing some of the questions posted, not this one in particular, yeah maybe a bit

Here are 3 things to look for.

1) Stock recognition. Make sure you are set at "use stock for outer boundaries"

 

2) Lead in lead out. Can adjust how far away from your starting point you want to be.

 

3) Tool chain. Make sure its the right direction.

 

 

My guess is #1.

Also check you lead in and lead out angles I have seen them decide to reverse for no good reason sometimes. Programming along doing a family of part and then part #5 one day the lead angles are 180 to what they should be. Next day part #2 freaks out and then will be fine for a few days then it will freak out again.
