Looking for solid model of a Kuraki

Hello...

 

I am looking for some help. I need to find a 3D model of a Kuraki KBT - 11Z. Yes - its for Vericut. I have asked Kuraki but they do not reply. I did purchase this machine brand new, but in 2004. If anyone knows of a site that might have 3D models of machine tools available, it would be greatly appreciated or just some direction other than what I have done in the past...which was create them myself.

Steve you have come across the best answer.

 

Make it yourself.

 

That is normally a 2 day process for me to accomplish and on very complex machines it can take me up to 5 days depending on how much detail it really needed.

 

Vericut has people that will come do it for you, but we are not cheap for them either.

Was that free or did that cost your company some money to have that service preformed?

A good start would be to scale the machine views, and build your own components:

This is the way that anyone else that does this is going to do it, unless they bring out a Romer arm or have existing CAD data.
