1/4-28 tap on an Okuma lathe.

I have never done any tapping on an Okuma lathe and I need to know if my code is good before it hits the shop floor.   Anybody know if this is any good?

After the G77 it goes to G00 and I'm hoping its not going to rapid out.

Where did the feed rate for a 28 pitch tap come from?

1/28 = .035714

cant you dry run it in air?

Del,   That's my issue,   all the machines are running production.   Trying to give these guys a bulletproof program to keep sh!t rolling.

On an Okuma LB3000 I have to have an X0.0 on the same line as the G77 or it will alarm.

Well I'm a little far for that!! But I can send you to two places there I Guarantee will make up for it .Ok three. one is Cutters at the Santa monica Pier.
