Lathe Question

Hello All,

 

I have attached a file I am working on in Lathe.  I don't know how to flip the part with the WCS so as to machine the bulb side.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you try the stock flip operation?

I went to front view and xform rotated 180°.

I just use stock flip pick the geometry  and offset the part what ever the length of the part is.

Wow!  You guys are awesome!  Thanks for the replies.
I copied the WCS and set z to the top of the bulb.   I ran a finish pass on the bulb just to make sure I had it right, and I don't.

Please run the verification.  It cuts the top of the bulb off.  

 

When I ran this part, I just programmed the bulb side as if it were another part.   I'm going back now trying to figure out the right way

to do things.

The backplot will look correct, but due to an issue in Verify it does not Verify correctly.

Be nice we could do it like we use to with Lathe. Pick your operations and Verify and get results we were used to.
