Fanuc 31i parameter question

We're trying to run a toolpaths

 

using length offset H3

 

(G43 H3)

 

and

 

diameter offset D3

 

(G01 D33 G41)

 

the machine will not do it but will run D3 just fine

 

(G01 D3 G41)

 

there must be a parameter that says D must  equal H

 

does anyone know what parameter it might be??

Haven't the yellow books around at the moment, but I'm sure what you need start at 5000?

Here is a pic of the relevant parameter I believe..

 

Looks like its 5002..

 

The language they use is a bit confusing though so if I am wrong don't hate me for it..

Parameter 5002 didn't work.

We're getting in touch with the machine builder to get this resolved

You need to change the Offset Memory Type to disable the paired offset option.

Option Parameters on a 31i are no longer directly accessible to users under [sYSTEM] [PARAMETER]

 

Parameter #5024 will tell you how many offset pairs you have enabled.

If you go into your offset page and [PAGE DOWN] until the end of the offset table you should see a number that matches #5024.
