OMIT A INDEX OUTPUT

Good Morning

What would be the best way to get my post to omit posting "A" for rotary index. I' want two post's set up . I want one for when we have the A axis rotary hooked up and one when its disconnected.

Why not 1 post and 2 machine defs?

 

1 Machine Def with a 4th axis rotary component

1 Machine Def with no rotary component

 

Depending on the vintage of your posts this is very doable

MPMASTER has this built in. If you have a program with no A axis moves, it won't output an A move. As soon as you have a program with an rotary move, it will output it. It could also be very easily accomplished with a prompt when you post....something like "Output A Moves?"

if you con make post edits, try the following  with your pindex and or your pfcout . The following  sections of you post (psof$ and ptlchg0$  and  ptlchg$) modify the (pindex and pfcout) and add the if statement to check and see if their an index.

Block delete. This way the same program can be run on both machines without reposting...if that is the only difference.
