Startup Configuration

We have switched to a NetHasp and I now have 3 icons on my desktop that launches Lathe, Mill Level 3, or Mill 5X. Each one starts with the same configuration and the startup product is set to Mill. Is there a way to tie a configuration to each one of these shortcuts so I don't get the error dialog stating I don't have the correct license when I start Lathe for instance?

Kevin the start up is tied to the user config, so you would need three different configs or log ins

You could set the start up to "Design" then load the machine group using the machine type dropdown

I was just thinking that is how I would have to go around it. Thanks for the confirmation.

FYI you can force Mastercam to use a specific startup config file by adding to the command line prompts:

"C:\Program Files\mcamX9\Mastercam.exe" mcamxm.config

This will load the mcamxm.config regardless of what is set in the startup config setting of your default configuration file.

Much thanks again, couldn't remember and had to look it up.

Will this work with other configs?
