Will X9HLE run on Windows 10?

A friend is trying to install it on a Win 10 machine and it won't let him install it

I have done this and it works as expected.

Yes, it works fine on my WIN10 laptop.

 

On a side note, when I installed mine, it asks whether I want 32 or 64 bit.  I chose 64bit as that's what I have - does anyone know if this installs on 32bit? I know the choice was there but just checking!

 

Not sure now!! I'm confused! Just installed on my work PC and no choice of 32/64 bit!

 

Does your friend have 32bit PC maybe?

X9 no longer supports x32. I would assume X9 HLE would be the same

I have X9 installed on my copy of Windows 10 Pro 64bit here, works fine.

Could it be a permission issue? Not running as admin, insufficient hard drive space?

I gave my friend an old Dell workstation I had lying around

He's rebuilt it with a new SSD and Win 10 Pro (x64)

The install won't run from the CD

This machine had issues with it's CD drive so he's going to try copying the install disc to a

flash drive and trying again
