How do i check the color of a surfacethat has been changed from its original solid color? If I create a solid at a color and change one of its surfaces to a different color, how do I check what that surface color has been changed to? Using (Analyze - Entity Properties) it just gives me the color of the original solid... Thanks in advance

But the solid selection is not activated.

The solid select button is activated with certain functions, such as "create curve all edges" or if you open a surface toolpath.

Once you've activated the solid selection you can then use the "all select" function and select the solid faces by color.

  • 1 year later...

Analyze Dynamic reports the "Current Color" of a solid face that has been changed from the original solid color.

In Mastercam 2017 selection is enabled in the "Selection Bar" .

Mouse over the cube with the green check mark.  Click it and then you toggle edge, face and/or body options. (Most times you can select more than one, depends what you are doing.)
