context popups in comment window

     Anyone know a way in the comments section of the toolpath, to have a right-click menu, that allows you to select predetermined comments? for example: 3mm ball rough or .5mm ball finish?

Best way to do that is to have a Word file with all your standard comments that you can just copy and paste. There is no option inside Mastercam to do that.

You can also edit your tool so that you don't have to type it every time, since you usually don't rough and finish with the same tool.

 

No need to mention the tool size, Mastercam already does that automatically...

yeah i have all my tools labeled, i have always added comments for every toolpath. i have to use subs in all my programming, thats why i do it.... keep everything minimized in the Toolpaths manager, and just quick select those like commented operations and then post....i have used that word  document in the past as well.

maybe import operations already with those tools and comments already inputted?

I have comments already saved in my ops library. When I import the op, I still have to edit the comment, but 95% of what I need/want is already there.
