delete a plane 2017

If there is a check mark next to it, the plane is being referenced by something, a tool path, a view sheet, something..

 

You can right click on it and check the properties, that will tell you what's referencing the plane, clear that and you can delete it

right click on it and choose report

the report will tell you what functions are using the plane..

could be a tool path, a stock model, a view sheet or it could be active.

once you have fixed those, you will be able to delete the plane..

 

one thing to keep in mind, you cannot delete the basic starting planes  Top, Front, Left, Right

 

Once you launch Lathe, it will create  +D+Z and Top (VTL) if you're using a VTL

you cannot delete those either
