While I'm venting and griping, here is another irritation of mine.  Maybe it's a post but maybe it's just an mcam thing.

Is there any way to make those dang zeros stick?

I feel like that might be a post thing. Maybe a format statement change? Just tried it on my end and I defaulted to 4 digits total, even when I put in two leading zeros and three digits.

I just tried 4 other posts and one generic.  Mine does the same on all.  It truncates the leading zeros.

Yes that is the FMT statement. Change it to not truncate that value and it will not do it.

As Ron said that is a post setting with the format statements

I would recommend creating a new Format Statement number, and using that to format the Program Number.

 

fs2 30   5 0 5 0l

That's "format statement, type 2", number "30", with 5 leading zeros, a space, and 0 decimal digits. (The space and zero tells MP to "format as integer", no decimal)

The lowercase "L" at the end of the line is for "Leading" and will force out your leading zeros.
