Since I started using 2017, I have had an issue where if I have only one operation, there is no tool change number generated. If I have two or more operations, both operations have a tool change number. The other guys here do not have this issue and we are using the same post processor.

What am I missing?

pre-stage tooling in the control def?

Is yours set to off and theirs on?

I had this issue with a post for one of our older Mazak vertical mills. I contacted our reseller and they had me send them the post file. They had the issue fixed and it now works properly. They said it was something with 2017 changing something in the post when I updated to 2017. The post worked fine in X6 - X9, but started doing what you described when I started using 2017. HTH

Have you installed all 3 updates for MC2017?

I don't know if this was addressed by an update or not,.

I've never seen this issue, but all my posts are mpmaster based
