Climb mill roll in on contour

As I mostly cut wood these days, sometimes techniques are needed to prevent splintering when going across the grain.  Rolling into a cross grain cut is normally needed.  So far the only way that I have found to do this is by creating geometry, not a huge problem, but time consuming when you have to do it a lot.

I know this is a best practice for say face milling, see attached video.

Does anyone know how to do this on a contour without creating extra geo?  Would this be a good enhancement request to say give us the ability to flip our lead in, and leave comp on the other side?
