I work in a shop with three seats of mc9.2. We are experiencing a problem with one machine warping one quadrant of the geometry even though it doesn't show in toolpath or verify it shows in part. Anyone out there experienced anything like this? I've reinstalled everything, but to no avail. My mc9 file is on ftp site as "curve_problem_14b-1.mc9"

just a random shot in the woods, but could it have anything to do with the arc check area of the post headscratch.gif

arccheck : 1 #Check for small arcs, convert to linear

atol : .01 #Angularity tolerance for arccheck = 2

ltol : .002 #Length tolerance for arccheck = 1

vtol : .0001 #System tolerance

Make sure all 3 machines are running the latest version of MP.DLL. 9.18 is available on this forum and Mastercams support pages.

Try coping the mill.cfg file from a good machine to the bad one.

edit:

If all else fails, uninstall MC and delete the MC9 folder from the computer. Then do a clean install with a V9.1 SP2 disc. It sounds like something has been corupted and the regular install procedure is not overwriting it.
