Hey all...

In 2017, I could be in 2D mode and was able to create a curve and it would match the edge I selected.

In 2018, when I create a curve on one edge, it does not match the selected edge...

Any ideas why it's doing this? Probably a config setting I'm overlooking. Any help will be appreciated. TIA

Jim

It takes some getting use to but it's very nice for building containment boundries

We use to have to select the edges project them to a Z depth then trim/extend and screw around till we had a good chain

now you just set a it to 2D set a depth and select your faces and and edges.. they land on your set Zdepth

already trimmed and no duplicates..
