Hi All,

I set up some part on my VF2   for make keway .On VF 3 AND VF 8  I can use  M19 Pxx and rotate spindle for location what I want ( 90   ,0   270 degree ).On VF 2  when I try this code doses not work .spindle lock up only in one position .My broaching tool is of and I thought I can rotate with   M19  Pxxx code .There is some parameter on Haas control for activate this option ???

Did you purchase the machine with that option? If the machine is not built with the correct encoder then nothing is going to turn it on. Need to get a hold of your HFO and see what they can do to help.

If I knew a way to cheat the machine dealer out of money I would not openly share that or privately for that matter and in essence that is what you are asking for.

R is good on 2002 vf3

I'm guessing he has the broaching option on his machine and yours does not....

Guessing they made it better and an option somewhere along the line.

every (vector drive) mill i've used could do it, but they get servo vibration while "in position".
