Opening PDF stalls after running two instances of MC 2018

Has anyone seen this?  Every time I launch 2 or more instances of Mastercam 2018, opening pdf files lags until I completely close all instances of Mastercam.  On top of that, the next time I launch Mastercam, it lags badly as well some times taking as long as 30 seconds to respond.

So far the only way I've found to stop the lag is to reboot the PC.  I haven't been able to figure out what process is causing the problem.

I've got 2 files, about 150megs each open...rifled through several pdf's no issues....

Got 32 gigs RAM......

Machine Specs perhaps?

 

Added a 3rd, 130meg file and opened the 115 meg Kennametal pdf....no appreciable difference

The pc is old, but its not the "machine" that is the issue. Not the hardware anyway.  There could be an argument made for operator involvement. :D   I can have Solidworks, TopSolid (with 7 files open), Catia, and a single instance of Mastercam open and it never lags out.  I can have only a single instance of Mastercam open and nothing else, as soon as I launch the 2nd, the lag starts. 

Once the lag starts doesn't go away until I close *all* instances of Mastercam. Once I do that the pdf files open fine.  After launching the two instance of Mastercam and then closing, re-opening Mastercam lags horribly and continues to do so until I reboot the pc. It has to be something that is happening during the launch of the 2nd instance of Mastercam.

Try this > Windows Start Menu > Type in "System Information".

In the dialog, go down to "Windows Error Reporting" at the bottom of the Tree.

On the bottom of the dialog, enable the checkbox for "Search selected category only", and search for "Mastercam". Also, search for "PDF" in the Windows Error Reporting details.

Sometimes, you can find an error message like this one:
