Drill Point selection wonky

Something I have never seen that I have been scratching my head about. Its driving me insane.

Select the drill points, two of them work just fine, the ones projected off the solid body as shown keep offsetting in weird ways and I have no clue why. It happens both selecting the spline and the projected wireframe. Anybody seen this behavior?

Edit: selection method is "entities" so its *should* be grabbing center points.

It looks like it is picking up the endpoints of the projected arcs which may mean you have splines.  If you analyze them are they arcs or splines.  If they are splines try the simplify spline option to convert them to arcs and see if that helps.

The "Hole Axis" function is used to pick up the "center" of a hole, just like what you have there. Your original issue is that the body is "curved", so your Edge Curves that are created are "splines" the follow the contour of each hole. Even if you use "Transform > Project" to project the edge curves to a "flat plane", the resulting entities could still be a Spline. If that is the case, you can use the "Simplify" command (with a tolerance that is adjustable), to attempt to convert the Splines into Arcs instead.

Hole axis used to be a c-hook now you can find it under model prep.  You can use hole axis to create axis lines in circular holes in solid bodies.  Once you create the line you can use it to create tool planes or drive toolpaths normal to the center line of the hole you selected.
