2019 file won't open

in my cinfig file under start/exit is  inch metric radio buttons but it won't let me select the metric one to change it.

Well , when you opened the file with Verisurf and saved it , did it open after that ?  BTW we are a  HOT TOPIC here

So you have a fresh Mcam session , You go in there , maybe use the first bottom icon and choose the metric config file from there ?

It's a very unlikely scenario this will work, but just to rule it out .....

Wow, that worked on one of the files. I'm currently trying the one from earlier in the week. This was the very first file I had this happen to. Hopefully it will open.

Yeah after opening the file using verisurf and saving it, it opened just fine. Took a while but it opened.

I've been using mastercam since version 9 and on days like this I feel like a newby.

Me, I'm a V3 , but it's the constant  sniffing around that does the trick  And the  Verisurf thing is like a few months old knowledge

Jeff , those things are bacteria nests !  There is an internal  cavity  you  can't clean  properly and people are spitting into it !
