Is there a way to speed it up?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Emastercam Forum. :)

I am not very good at throwing darts at a dart board in the bark, blind folded facing the wrong direction, but I will ask the following and see what answers to see how I can best try to help given the limited information you have provided.

Compared to what? What have you tired? When you called your dealer and talked to them about what your seeing what did they tell you to try? Have you changed the speed slider or the accuracy slider in Verify? What size parts are you trying to Verify? How many operations? Using solid stock or stock models? Undercuts? 3 Axis, 4 Axis or 5 Axis milling? 2 axis Lathe? 4 axis Lathe? 2 Turrets, 3 Turrets, 4 Turrets lathe? B Axis Lathe? Twin Spindle of the aforementioned? Have you built in process stock models? Have you changed tolerances on them to speed things up? Are you running the correct recommend computer specifications for the work you are doing? Let's start there and then we can see what can be done to help you. Have a good day.

Thanks for the reply 5ax.

What Im seeing in backplot is this:  When I press the backplot button and then press the 'R' key (run) I see th endmill verrry slowly go around the geometry.  I'd like to be able to press 'R' and have the endmill go around the profile much faster.

Thanks

Anything you can take a screen shot of share? Part that is 50 feet long I would expect the 1" endmill to go slow. Part that is 10" long I would not. What kind of prospective of endmill to part ratio are we talking about here?

This slider controls backplot speed

the further left it is, the slower you go,

the further right, the faster you go

there are other things that can slow backplot down as well

If you have chained a spline you will get point to point code which may backplot slowly

Grab a single toolpath and run it. It will be slow. Grab a few toolpaths and back plot speeds up
