I am trying to machine a slot in Cplane=6, Tplane=6 with the horizontal spindle, but it does not give me the proper X,Y,Z,A coordinates as when I am drilling . Any information would be appreciated.

To get more insight into you problem Can I ask does your post use a piovit Distance in its calucations for doing 5 axis or right head work in this case? Does the machine automatically compsenate for the distance from the end of the tool to the place you tell it? What type of length compension does the machine need to use in relation to Mastercam?

____________

The Aggregate C-Hook for Mastercam Mill and Router is used to define aggregate tooling blocks, then apply the blocks to toolpaths. An aggregate block can be a right-angle, compound-angle, or a vertical block that requires an offset. A compound-angle block is shown below.

Defining an aggregate block requires coordination between the Mastercam operator and the machine tool vendor. Information about the aggregate tooling needs to be entered into the C-Hook, and the post processor may need modifications to accept the output from the C-Hook. Information about changes to CNC Software’s MP post processor language to support aggregate blocks can be found in the Version 9.1 Changes to the MP Post Reference Guide. Contact your Mastercam Reseller for more information.

To launch the Aggregate C-Hook, press [Alt+C] in the Mastercam graphics window and select aggregat.dll.
