Drill cycle feed plane

Is there in option in X9 to set a feed plane for a drilling operation? I need to avoid some clamps between some holes but I don't always want to retract as high after each one. If possible I'd like to retract 4" at the start and end of the program but only come up 1.5" between holes and rapid down to .35 before it starts feeding.

G98 or G99 for drilling cycles is controlled with the check box on the linking parameters page called "use clearance at start/end only", so by checking or unchecking this box you change your drill cycle output from G98 to G99. If you check out this video mark explains how they both work

so in mastercam we could Uncheck the "use clearance at start/end of operation" so its used between each hole. then Use the Clearance for your retract height and your top of stock for the drill start position and i believe that will give you what you are looking for. i hope this helps

Use Reference Points at the start and end of the drill cycle, set them to Z4.0

Clearance plane = 1.5

Retract plane = .35

Top of stock = 0
