5000 RPM - 50 IPM - .125 stepover - Sweet!!!

 

Part was turned inside before hand,

2 inch Mitsubishi Facemill pocketed both sides partway in,,

then Dive!! Dive!! Dive!!!

Absolutely Scary to watch it tool change!!! eek.gif

Max tool length in the machine is 350mm!!

 

(No,,, I can't tell you what the part is....so don't ask)

At those speeds and feeds we had no chatter at all.. was really sounding sweet!!!

What brand of heat shrink? Is that a Bilz or Haimer?

Actually, it's a Briney V40SF-125-600 that we had

to skim off about .020 from the OD.

(was the same dia. as the cutter)
