and now when I run a cut simulation, it crashes.

using optimill, and contours.... any ideas?

Try ram saver.

 

If that doesn't work, try rebooting the computer.

 

If that doesn't work, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

todays error messages include...

I thought it might be some funky solid, so I made a Cube, and tried to just face it.... no luck.

Get on the phone to your dealer. Late today to do anything, but Monday morning someone's phone would be lit up.

I un-installed 7mu1, cleared registry, and reloaded 7sp1 per MC tech service. still throws a error once and awhile, but not as much.

re-installing 6 until I get time to research the problem better.

download X7MU1 from the Mastercam website.

It installs straight to MU1 with all patches included

with mastercam closed try finding these files and erase them then open X7 and rum the sim, (you may have other files that are similar but these are the ones that gave me problems)

I erased the files, I did not have mwverifiergui_iof or mwmachsim_iof in my file list.

I ran the same part that was throwing errors, so far so good.

No problem glad to help. As i said it could be any number of oddly named files but that should fix it, it took me a while playing email tag with CNC Software but they helped me figure it out

ok, here is a update... I have a new mastercam dealer, they advised me that there is a verify bug with windows 7 32 bit.

So I need to update to 64 bit.

also that next mastercam, X8 will be 64 bit only.

so far it's working, but I will update windows in a few weeks.
