Hello all
I am trying to use Circle Segment Cutter (Barrel End Mill, Taper Form) with Multi-axis tool paths. I am having issues with Multi-axis Machining Geometries Offset (As shown in picture). Its not doing calculation. I previously used ball end mills, worked just fine.
If someone can help me out pl.
Thank you all.

Thanks all, I used swarf and Unified, its few extra steps, I think they give more flexibility and control.
I like OptiRough and 3+2 Automatic for roughing. Unified is a game changer.

Hello all
I am trying to machine Multiaxis pocket (file attached). I can rough out without any issues, with unified toolpath. What will be the best option to finish walls ?. Can I use swarf ? (Pocket has Ribs).
Thank you

Hello all
I have two adjacent surfaces with uneven UV lines. What will be the best option to make them even ?. Reflow UV ? or Overflow UV (Mastercam 2022 command) ?. Is anybody knows what is overflow UV used for ?
Thank you

Hello all
I am trying to use multi-axis toolpath (parallel) on surface. Toolpath is not smooth, its kind of retracting too much. Do I need to reflow UV on surfaces ?, if someone can help me please.
Thx

Hello all
I have question that is not directly related to Mastercam. I am working on CNC router (5 Axis) that is Fanuc control, machine table is fix, so I cannot rotate program in X, Y direction. I am trying to use (G68 X0. Y0. R2.), R is angle of rotation. When I type command machine gives alarm. Can someone please help.
Thank you.

That is the normal process with certain tool companies. They don't follow the ISO-13399 standard. CNC Software can only take what they are given and then make it work. When the vendors in their arrogance and shameful marketing method refuse to standardize and follow it then we get the issue you are facing. Here is a quick article to sum up exactly what I am saying to educate yourself on it.
Agree with you totally, thanks for help.

#Rekd™ my friend it works, only trick is to bring tool (stp) file into mastercam, realign it, and save back as a stp file, but it works, thanks for help.

Hello all
Is there any way we can import stp file of tool (basically 3D model) into Mastercam mill (not lathe), without sketching it ?. With lathe we can do.
Thx

Hello
Thank you guys, so, I attached actual Mastercam 2021 file with toolpaths. I managed to do c-axis and cross-drill (radial drilling lathe). Problem is my raw material is hex bar. So, I need to index perfectly perpendicular to milling spindle.
Should I assume live tooling milling spindle at 45 degree ?, and then lock main spindle with M19 R 123.45 for example, will that work ?
