  1. Doug, Your right about the fact that you start to get away from the keystrokes though. We were heavy keyboard junkies and have started to break the habit with X. We would have never guessed that they are less important now but that's exactly how it's playing out.. Cheers Chuck
  2. hey guys, The closet you can get to pre-X single keystrokes is by using windows functionality. Hit the Alt button and it wakes up the menu bar underline shortcuts. Then Select C-L-E to create line endpoints. Not all the combos are the same but alot are.
  3. Bullines Check out the HP ZD8000 and the Compag x6000, they both offer 600 series P4's
  4. Hello everyone I'm in the market for a new laptop and am happy to find this topic. However, I'm a bit confused. Sounds like the Pentium M's are out performing the Pentium R's due to a larger L2 cache (2MB). According to this thread the 1.8 centrino is outperforming the 3.0 desktop processor. I'm assuming those 3.0Ghz are actually Pentium 3.0Ghz 530's running on 1MB L2 cache? What about the Pentium 3.0Ghz 630 running on 2MB L2 cache? If cache is the differentiating factor, then we're not comparing apples to apples if the 500 series Pentium desktop processors is being used. Can Anyone running a 600 series desktop processor shed some light on this?
