Sorry about that Dr Suess got stuck in my head.
Thanks for the input though
Does anyone know if microsoft added a patch or update that might be causing MC to crash in verify.
It just started to happen this week. I'm running vista 64 bit
AMD 9750 quad core
ATI Radeon HD 3200
Thanks in Advance
Scott
Tried running the hasp X and it doesn't even know the sim is in my PC. Since CNC is closed today I'll have to be patient and bug the hell out of them tommorow.
I did try reloading the hasp drivers. It is just one sim that isn't working. Our Mill 3 works fine. Looks like we'll be getting a new sim on order.
MEA must be part of MU3. Just started after loading MU3.
My purple USB Hasp is flashing when I put it into any of the USB drives on any PC that has mastercam. Just started anyone know what it might be?
Thanks in advance
Thanks to all for the info.
Especially to Pink for the warm butter knife tooling. I'm having problems getting the butter knife to stay in my collet holder though.
Chris -Glad to see you and the monkey back
any one cut or cutting this material? What kind of tooling are you using and speeds and feeds. Do you use coolant?
Thanks in advance for any help from the best forum on the web.
Chris,
Just got my PC back on line and read this. Glad to here that your recovering from what could have been far worse. Best wishes on a full and healthy recover I'll be watching to read how things are going.
I use both the Cimco editor and DNC-Max with my Okuma. (Which has DNC B option)and run molds that take 138 hrs from start to finish and have never had a problem with losing code.
Well worth the price since you can back plot your G code in the Cimco editor and see any post errors that might not be seen in mastercam verify.
If you are running a Hasp 3 then you'll have problems you need to have a Hasp 4. You can go and run the Test Hasp from mastercam website to see if you have a Hasp 3 or Hasp 4
John, Good talking with you yesterday. Brett wasn't at the booth when you stopped but did wanted to meet the "Infamous" post xxxxe himself. we filled him in so your OK.
Beej,
You can go into the machine def and open the "Edit General Machine Parameters" then open the "Coolant Commands" tab and check the "support coolant using coolant value in post processor" this should fix your problem with the coolant.
