  1. okay found it, had to select it manualy, it won't prompt it.

One more question, I imported a tool file from version 9 and it had alot of tools that I use, but when I imported it and opened it in X some of the tools listed were not there as they were in version 9

  2. I have the same problem at my work too. Every program I write I have to make sure everything is perfectly golden, even if I have a spelling mistake in my notes I hear it. I blew up at him once and it was a waste of time. He's not happy untill he changes something in my program to save the world until he puts his cape on another day.

  3. When I select a tool library I can see the tools in the window only in some of the existing libraries but not in the ones I imported. How do I copy an existing library and rename it like I did in version 9. There are different file extension do I just use the tool file?

  4. Thank for the input on this subject. I agree totally using a zero in the control is a better way to go, but my programming with mastercam is replacing the manual programing in our shop and all the programs they have made use a value in the haas control in radius. I guess it might be time to change.

  5. I just started programing for our haas machines and I used cutter comp wear, but on the machine they input the radius of the cutter in the controller. This didn't work with mastercam, I had to put the radius of the cutter to zero for it to work properly. Why is this and can I change it somehow. I usually just program lathes so mill is new to me with mastercam .
