i just got solidworks 2008 pro installed on mycomputer there is a add on for mastercam. can someone clear that one up for me

i have to agree with gcode on the solidworks to mastercam. i have been using x2 since april 2007 been using v9.1 before that. been feeling like its teeth pulling sometimes. how i wish i had solidworks to do all my designing on.

i got good news my company just purchase the upgrade throught in house so. taking the leap of faith wish me luck

can you use vol 1 & vol 2 books for learning x2 when it comes out. i realy don't much about the difference between mastercamx & mastercamx2. thankyou

david i have seen powermill do that verify simulation 2 years ago. it was assome it can tell the lenght of tool needed and holder to get around 5 axis movment it was on a deckel machine i was very impress with it made it look easy and you were able to store it in your libary and save it. than if a another job that you come across in the near future had the same situation it's would look at your libary and pick the right tool for the job. it would assume you still the had the tool. i was very impress. ps i don't do 5 axis work so don't shoot the messager thank's

I got one just last night working in the shop talking to someone all of a sudden boom one of the tow motor drivers let a 4000 lb battery drop 3 feet high just missed his foot.ps this is the same guy that was working on 400 ton press and one one the hydraulic fitting blew up wipped around hit were it counts.he had to go to the hospital to get them pulled out from the pelvic socket this is no lie
