i just uploaded a file to the X4 files folder named 'Radius Challenge". i marked all the edges in red that im having difficulty with. They all need to have a .313 rad, but i cant get them to work together? any help is greatly appreciated. Ive tried a few different ways but its to the point where i think im confusing my self somewhere. thanks in advance, any suggestions?

im using a Kennametal taper holder with the NPT inserts, Im just running it without adding the taper angle into mastercam, and its been working good and the thread-gage im using fits correctly. I had difficulty running multi passes, i kept alarming out on my machine when i was offsetting the wear, both running with the taper and without in the mastercam settings. Finally got things working, but it was a little challenging

so even though the tool holder itself has some taper, i still need to fill in the "taper" box in X4?

I have a 7 tooth insert and a taper tool holder for the 1/4 NPT, my customer wants me to go -.570 depth finish. When i program the thread mill tool path and set anything more than 1 cutting tooth, it does it in multiple depth cuts. Wont this interfere with the taper finish for this thread?

ive been working for the same mom and pop shop since i was 18, came in not knowing a single thing and making $8. 7 years later and im comfortable here at $22/hr, plus my boss brings breakfast tacos everyday -

i just uploaded a file onto the FTP site ion the X4 files folder title "mikes v block". There are 4 holes that i outlines in color #37 green i cant find a way to fill them in so i can create a surface operation on them while i finish out those 2 pockets. any and all help would be apprecaited as well as pointers as to how to fill those, thank you in advance

i installed it thru bootcamp first of course, and then started running thru VM Fusion. However, while in VM Fusion, all the keyboard shortcuts still default to the Mac OS and it messes me up, so im gonna be programming only thru BootCamp so that Windows 7 is the OS only

installed Windows 7 and had to immediately update to get the right screen resolution option, installed X4 and I'm stoked!!

i just uploaded file onto the FTP site in the X4_files folder named "MICHAELROUGH" im just starting to work on this part and already im having a problem. Im just doing a simple rough pocket aroung my part to hog out all teh stock material, however for some reason on 2 arcs of my inner boundary, the tool breaks inside of the boundary. Ive tried the different toolpaths and i even leave anywhere from .020-.050 stock material and i just cant get it to do what its supposed to. Any/all help is greatly appreciated, thank you

thanks for all the responses, honestly i just havent been able to find any reset that works, nor does my reboot. I just had ro reinstall and all is fine, took a little longer but now i can get back to work

ok i was able to find and do that now, but still nothing has re-appeared. i dont remember having done anything that would have disabled it, could it have possibly been some CTRL + shortcut or something else?
