  2. generaly thompson shafting have a thick chrome layer the first cut must be under this layer after it's like 4140ht thomson shafting is noting compare to flame cut stellite!! 5sfm and the chip is red hot

  4. i dont have solids yet!! i use surfaces and i save it in .stl then i use it for my stock setup generaly it works great
  5. so i dont tink is a configuration problem!! maybe is due to the fact that i dont have sloids!!
  6. tanks gcode, i change all my folders i remake a new .stl file but i still had a waterfall in verify this one is perfect (no sphere)

  10. your ramp in and ramp out must be over 50% and lenght also must be over 50% okuma dont leave you a chance for radius .0001 off and you got a cutter comp. alarm!

  12. yep! u can use the swept 2d toolpath u can create any simple profile with it!!

  15. hi iscar provide me a book with all theese formulas chip load thinning factor HP consumption it's the "iscar IN dustry machining training package" it's very usefull !!! i had this when i bought the feed mill (for hi speed machining that's the tool!!!)
  16. i have this problem too it seems that the selection button hide someting in the "axis" box
  17. i made a small searh on the forum and i found noting about my problem i always ad an "evil box" that box change places every time i open the stock set up dialog box i use X2 MR1 clic to enlarge (look in the oval!!)
  18. rotate in side view it will rotate about the X axis then the top view will show the side of your part!
  19. use x-form rotate!! rotate the draw not the UCS!!
  20. ^x2 why don't make small rad like .005 to .01 larger than tool radius it will make a big difference and the tool don't make a big skweek noise when cornering!!
