  1. I wish the coolant button wasn't moved in X4! It was a single button before and now it requires an entire page for the same options??? To enable coolant before it required just a couple quick keyboard key presses while setting my speed and feeds, whereas now I have to go back and forth to the mouse to enable coolant on a different page. Call me picky, I just don't see how this enhanced anything at all, just seems unwarranted.
  2. I would also be interested. Would be great for our inspection dept. to use w/ Calypso!
  3. wow it was right there the whole time. Thanks Matt
  4. Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows of a way to do this. I would like the tool to stay engaged in the cutting path when doing a skim pass, rather than comping off then back on. So far I've been editing it manually to do it this way but maybe I missed something that will do it automatically for me?
  5. Minimize / Maximize will cause toobar errors, have to reload .mtb file every time Doesnt seem to save popup window positions when recalled (Backplot menu, Tool Parameter page) While in Verify mode if you have a ballmill / radius endmill finishing a wall it will change the color of the entire floor surface (even though it isnt cutting that surface)
  6. Just to follow up on the subject, we got the problem figured out. Things we did thinking it was the problem: We changed video cards, swaped ram, reinstalled windows xp pro w/ all security updates, exchanged the computer with Dell, among other things. The real problem: Microsoft Elite Keyboard Model 1011 wireless keyboard and mouse. The newest drivers on their website was causing video related problems. We installed older drivers that were included on the disk when the keyboard was purchased and everything works like a charm. It not only affected Mastercam, but also any other OpenGL/Direct X rendering software as well. Just for anyone that hits this post as a search result, in the future
  7. Well I think we tried everything.. different drivers, updated directx, remove/reinstall multiple drivers, reinstall mastercam, front buffer settings, antialiasing setting, and it goes on. The only thing that works is to disable hardware acceleration which really sucks since we just upgraded the computer in the first place to try getting mastercam to run better. Ugh.. I dont really want to just settle with something half-assed.
  8. Well we experienced the same problems with the dell installed driver out of the box, so we upgraded to the latest drivers at nvidia.com, unfortunately with the same results... Updated DirectX as well, no luck with that either.
  9. Are they compatible? We just got a dell dimension 9200 with a NVIDIA 8600 GTS and we cant get mastercam to load properly. For instance: When Rotating Dynamically it will scramble the display. (Kind of like the window blinds effect in photoshop) When resizing or moving the main mastercam window it will black out the window and cause a error report screen to popup, and close mastercam. With Disabling hardware acceleration turned off it seems to work ok, but is not acceptable due the the major performance decrees associated with it. Also, we have a dual monitor seutup both running on dvi inputs if that matters.
  10. Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on the forum. I have a question about a chook called v9colors.dll that I executed in version X2. Basicly I was wondering how to revert back to the color pallet that is default in X. I tried following the instructions given in the "whats new in x" text file but it didnt seem to change anything.
