Turning and threading some Monel K500 and Inconel 725 at the moment using iscar CNMG Grade IC907 at 40m/min @ .2 mm/rev also threading using Iscar IC908 @20m/min no problems at all Monel is easy to cut,but is in the same material group.

Same as cannon can use it to edge find,measure bores, set work offsets in z,will save you loads of time and well worth the money

When i go to about under the help tab and click on Details it says my version is Mastercam.Exe = X2 MR2 (11.2.3.28) the following updates were found version = (11.2.3.29) dll name = mcamxappsmchutl.dll purpose = mchardmillres app have update and it says there are no more updates am i missing something here?

Use create note instead. then press F4 analyze and click on the edit text button to edit the text or use dimension multi edit to change size,font etc

Create your helex (left view) Create your slot side profile (front view) solid sweep solid remove the file i have uploaded here is not 100% perfect but for a 5min try it will give you the general idea Sorry for the white border

Can some one please explain the purpose of the group button on the status bar, i can create groups add items to groups,ect but thats it, i can not see any practical use for it or has levels taken over from it? Quick mask groups does nothing as well

try this free program WinTopo Had some good results once its set up right - Use the Stentiford method under raster thinning - - Use Smooth polyline during Vectorisation - Output as DXF works stright away

select items press F4 analize entities change color , line style,line width and level click on the blue star (propagate attribute changes) click ok a different way if you want to change more then one items attribtes quickley
