Dear robk, I agree with you and thanks for answer! I did not pay attention to that 1" diameter mill. I need a tool 3-4mm(1/8"). From our local resellers( Iscar, Hanita and Kennametall) I given some suggestions and tried them, but without effect. Suggested tools were run-out after approximate 40 minutes working in material. So, I don't found yet resolving of my problem and trying any way to do that. Sincerely, Michael.

Hi, I have a bug in Mastercam Code Expert and need any help. I doing this: 1) Posting operation and changing G54 to G55(pic 1) with good result 2) Inserting block skip (pic 2) - good result yet 3) Removing block skip (pic 3) - Bump!!! - removes Block skip but inserting g55!!! Hi Steve, The Mcam have many different ways for resolving same problem. In your case I can add one of them: If you choose solid for tool path, open chain manager by clicking on Geometry brunch(pic 1), in open window double click on Solid Chain and then right click on Loop, the Start point option will available (pic 2). Hi all, I have problem with removing features from solid. In the attached file Level 1- the initial solid and Level 100 - the solid after using modify solid features. Two open places I can't remove. Thanks for any help. Sincerely, Michael.

Hi Aaron, Some problem that found in Toolpath Manager are: 1) When I open tool library and create assembly not always possible to drag holder or tool to assembly window 2) When assembly was created, the tool in library duplicated 3) Randomly once yes, once no, some tools were disappear in library 4) When I open tool library from recently opened list, on the start page, Tool Manager stops working... After I have all these problems some times every day, I just stoped to use new Tool Manager. To QC all problems were sent today. Waiting for answer. Sincerely, Michael.

Hi, I need to make many simple but precision parts from SS-304. All tools which I used wearing after 10 minutes working in material. I tried different RPM and feedrate but with same result. Have someone experience with this steel? Thanks for any help. Sincerely, Michael.

Same problem occur in transform-rotary. The tool always runs thru part from one hole to another. But this collision is false. Sincerely, Michael.

Go to Setting-Configuration-Toolpaths and uncheck Lock Feedrates. Must help. Sincerely, Michael.

Hi, Sorry I don't know answer to your question, I only want to suggest you don't use the new tool manager because it have many bugs. For example he renumbers tools in library, multiplies tools, changes coolant settings and many more. Good luck! Sincerely, Michael.

Hi, The function "Check duplicate tool number" was unselected. All operations and their geometry, speed, feed and coolant imported correctly. Problem only with multiplication of tools. I see, that in the imported file I have five operations with same tool, and X7 creates new tool for each operation. Why? I don't know. May be this is one of Mcam bugs. Thank for help. Hi, I am have idea insert G187 P1 E0.8 (for HSM function) as canned text befor operation and only G187 at end operation for cancelling this function. All works good except one little problem - G187 P1 E0.8 appears twice in the middle of operation. I will very glad if some one will help me with this. Thank to all in advance. Sincerely, Michael.
