  1. Hi, I have some problem with creating segment point along closed chain. If I create point along open chain, all works correct, but if I use any closed chain, for example circle and want to create say 5 point along the circle, the Mcam creates 5 points but first and last point at same place. Is this a bug? Thanks in advance, Sincerely, Michael.
  2. Hi Colin, Thank you very much! This check box 100% resolves problem! But only if "Trochoidal motion" enabled. What to do if for any reason this option must to be disabled? As I understand, crossing containment boundary prohibited for tool. If now - what means this boundary? Thanks, Sincerely, Michael.

  6. Hi again, DaveR Try this: Start Mcam, click Machine type, choose Mill - Manage list. In open MD Menu Management in right window(Machine Definition Menu) click on Haas 4x machine, click Remove. Check that Current Machine Definition Directory is right, must to be C:\Users\Public\Documents\Shared McamX7\CNC_Machines\. Choose from left window Haas 4x machine, click Add, Click green V button. Try now choose your machine from Machine Type menu. I hope this will help. Good luck! Sincerely, Michael.

  12. Hi all, I am working on the HAAS vf3 machine with TR160Y 5-axis attached on X axis. Is this possible to see this axis in Machine simulation like other machines? Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Michael.
  13. Hi, I yesterday used this toolpath type and very very pleased with the result. I am working on the HAAS vf 3 machine with TR160(5-axis). I think that post 10 years old is a problem of crashing, because working in McamX7 with 10 years old post like driving Mercedes with wheel of a bicycle. What can I suggest you is try the program with another post processor and compare NC files, if you see difference in places where was crash - 100% problem in post and you need to update it. If you don't see any collusion in backplot and verify, may be the machine set up (like reference point, retract height etc.) caused to crash. I do not know how you do, I am always carefully running first part, directly from the machine, especially so expensive. On the machine always possible to see where tool going, distance to go, etc. Good luck! Sincerely, Michael.
  14. Glad to help. Sincerely, Michael.
