  1. We used to have two nethasps at different IP's. Our IT guy changed it to have both nethasps on one server. The nethasp I was tied to before the switch had mill level 3 and 5axis. Now with the addition of the other nethasp I am able to get a lathe and solids license. Ever since the change I am unable to create a bounding box, unless I grab a solid license. But we only have one solid seat and I shouldn't need to be taking it to create a bounding box. Can anyone help? edit for more info; I created a .stl in Solidworks and would like to select it in verify. But Mastercam becomes unresponsive unless I have a solid license.
  2. thanks for your reply Marshal. gcode, I understand SW front = MCAM top; just wondering why the two packages are set up the way that they are. htm01, I understand how to create a local coordinate system in SW, thanks. edit: Marshal, can you post the link?
  3. Out of curiosity, does anyone know why this is? Is one way more widely used then the other? I have really only used Mastercam and Solidworks. thanks
  4. thanks a lot! problem solved.

  7. yeah, thanks. our IT guy says I shouldn't have any issues with permissions... but x5 still throws the error.
  8. looks like my issues are not permissions related. anyone have any other ideas?
  9. Where do I specify the location of insert.tbl in Mastercam? It looks like I have full permissions...
