  1. Yes that was it. B0 faces the tool changer and I had it set to Vertical. Thanks for the help.
  2. IHS_Mazak_Integrex_J_Series_Matrix.mcam-lmd and IHS_Mazak_Integrex_J_Series_Matrix.pst It's a Mazak J400 Integrex and when I rough turn and finish my B axis is on a +45 but it post out -45. It's getting that value from Mastercam's tool field but if I put it to +45 the toolpath shows a crash cause the tool faces the wrong direction. I though my machine def is set wrong but the changes I made to the b axis don't seem to have an effect. Up to this point I just been modifying the program after I post and I don't want to any more.
  3. Hello, I have a B axis head and I need to have the B axis at +45° for turning and when I adjust the Tool Angle I have to set it to -45°. I tried to adjust the machine definition, the machine configuration section of the B axis to counter clockwise hoping it would adjust the rotation but it doesn't. Is that the correct setting to adjust to fix this? Any help is much appreciated. Greg
  4. Same with me. Currently Curve 5 Axis and Flow 5 Axis won't out put a tool change.
  5. That was checked, seems like that would be the cause of my problems. Thanks.
  6. Regarding this issue of Force Tool Change not staying checked. I had some issues with my config file it some how was corrupt and it was creating issues for me (I can list the issues if anyone is interested), during file migration it became corrupt. What files would be associated with these tool path settings and could they be corrupted too? Could that be causing the issue? Ron you said you don't have this issue and seeing how dead this topic is it's not causing issues with too many other people.
  7. Hello and thanks for the reply. I was using MC2018 and for the longest time X9 and the home position never seemed to effect my stock models or verify something is different in MC2019. Too bad there is not a switch or setting that can be changed. Side Note: Good for Quebec on your latest election.
  8. Hello, Since I started using MC2019 I've had issues with my Home Position approaches/retracts violating my stock in Verify and in my Stock Models. In previous versions it didn't really matter what values I had in my Home Position it didn't seem to effect my Verify and Stock Models. I use to use "force tool change" in order to get my Stock Models to display correctly now it doesn't' seem to matter; it gets info from my Home Position for approaches/retracts. Is there any settings that my be new to MC2019 or that my help fix my problem? Thanks, Greg
  9. Thanks Ron. On all my Curve 5 axis tool paths the check box won't stay checked but I have a Multi axis Parallel tool path that will stay checked. The other thing that doesn't seem to work for me in 2019 is the stock model operation. I'm using it the same way as I did in 2018 with force tool path checked but now it seems to ignore that and completely destroy the stock model when moving from plane to plane. Back to using stl files for the time being. I was advised to delete all of Mastercam's from my computer and do a fresh install, I have files from X6 on this computer.
  10. Hello, I'm using MC2019 update2 and while using a Curve 5 axis tool path I check Force Tool Change the toolpath goes dirty I regen and when I go back into the toolpath it's unchecked. I tried to post it with out going back in and seeing it unchecked and it's is not forcing the tool change. I've done the same thing for a Multiaxis - Parallel toolpath but it stays checked. It's working on other programs but not for the curve 5 axis program. Any ideas? TIA Greg
  11. I had one MC2018 session open with a verify window open and one MC2019 session open. When I docked the toolpath manager it did fix the problem but it was still laggy and slow to respond.
  12. Using MC2018 I'm using a Curve 5 Axis program and I enable safety zone, for axis of rotation I select X axis and set the angle at 45° then I click define shape and it puts me into a geometry selection dialogue. I pick my part and it creates a box before or after I select the geometry; I'm locked out of changing any of the settings. I can only select a face of the box and push or pull it. Enter doesn't even work I can only hit escape to end the dialogue. As I was typing I this I tried to dock the toolpath manager to my main screen from a second screen then all the options that couldn't select now worked worked. Odd eh? Thank for the tips Ron.
  13. Turning of that check box solved my problem, thanks.
  14. Hello, I noticed this for awhile now but have never posted to ask this question. I would make a Flowline toolpath and want to reduce the size of the program by adjusting my filter and as I move the cut tolerance to a smaller value the program went from cutting a linear arc to stair steps, very odd. This use to work in the past if I needed to reduce the program size then I would adjust the arc filter but with Flowline it doesn't seem to be working correctly. No matter what I do to the arc filter I am unable to make it create arcs so there must be something with the solid face I selected that is trying to cut the radius with small linear moves. I was able program the way I wanted with arcs using Surface Finish Parallel and get the smaller program size too but I use to use Flowline. Any ideas? Thanks, Greg
  15. G32 in with a M03 then G32 out with a M04. May need to have a M05 in there to stop the spindle then M04 out, depends on your machine.
  16. A work around that I found is to use Unblank Entity and it will bring back missing geometry because of the stock flip. It's not perfect but I didn't have to reprogram anything I just moved around the order of the programs. I use separate levels for setup 1 and 2 geometry and make sure what ever side I'm working on have that level selected.
  17. Shoot. Oh well at least I know that I'm not doing more work for nothing. Thank you for the reply.
  18. Good Day, I created a part for our lathe complete with a stock flip, after the fact I wanted to change the order of my setups. What is the best way to do this with minimal re-programming? I have my programs in operations groups as follows: Setup-1 Stock Flip Setup -2 I swapped Setup-1 with Setup-2 but the masks are still applied to the Setup-1 programs from the stock flip, I'm sure I could post and everything would be fine but the MC file is kind of messed up. My guess is that I need to delete the stock flip and re-create it put the geometry on a new level and re-select geometry. Anyone else have a better method? TIA, Greg
  19. The file size is only 10-30 Mb. At least I know that I'm not the only one with waits. I can request some minor upgrades for my computer like new graphics card and or more ram. Looks like the P4000 is around $1200.
  20. Hello, I been having two issues. 1) I've been noticing that when using Verify with Multiaxis toolpaths take for ever to run and is very laggy. 2) Using multiaxis programs it laggs, for example when I go to toolpaths then multiaxis there is lag between when I click and when the window pops up. Also when I select they type of multiaxis toolpath and it's specific interface. Mastercam license is local on my computer and not nethasp. i7-4960X 3.6GHz 32 Gb or Ram (not sure what type of ram) NVIDIA Quadro K4000 TIA, Greg
