  1. Hello Rob, I have some instructions put together for a customer of mine that wanted to do the same thing in Mastercam I can send them to you if you would like?
  2. Our Technical department use a product here called JING from TechSmith its a free down download which allows you to take custom screen shots, add text and videos etc much faster and easier. http://www.techsmith.com/
  3. i don't think the migration will work from X4 to X6 because the migration utility grabs the files from MY MCAMX5 and Shared MCAM X5 and that is not how the install for Mastercam X4 was structured. You could however use the update folder utility.
  4. i haven't tested this out without the the previous version actually being installed but. I was thinking if you copy your My mcamX5 and Shared MCAMx5 folders into your new PC X6 has a new migration utility that bring everything into you new version easily.
  5. in the downloads section their is a document "How to update your post processor" skip to page 2 it will show you how to use the update utility and where the files should be placed.
  6. same thing in xp just go to control panel then Mouse then pointers.
  7. if your running windows 7 right click then properties then on the left hand side you will see change mouse pointers. Select the pointers tab. Scheme would be Windows Aero (system scheme)
  8. I found another laptop running a GTX 460 and for larger files i found the Quadro 2000 did run a little smoother then the GTX 460 but still better then i expected.
  9. no sorry cant say i have used either GTX 460 or GTX 570. How big of file size are we talking about? i could do some testing and give you some feed back on the 2000.
  10. Turns out it was a DPI issue i had my DPI set to Smaller 100% but should be set to Medium(default) 125%
  11. yeah i have tried everything about 5 different drivers and different resolutions setting but nothing is working any other ideas?
  12. Reko which driver version are you running?
  13. I just received a Dell Precision 4600 Windows 7 64 Bit Laptop with the Nvidia Quatro 2000M Card. I have not had much luck with it so far. First issue i had was the drivers where causing the menu selection and rotating of the part to leg behind and freeze for a couple of seconds. Then i had found a driver update on the Web which seemed to have fixed the freezing so far but noticed a lot of images/words where cut off in the menu as well as overlapping images. Even selecting wire frame at time would not highlight.
