odd
i run HPCC all the time for any milling etc (thanks to cnc apps guy1)
i never have had an alarm even when ramping
might have to tweak some arc tol. parameters in the control
just a thought
i dont have any of those problems with mine....inventor, MC, NC plot smooth as silk
do you have a updated driver
edit
dumb question but do you have support 3D connexion tick box ticked on in config
i stopped using a big tolerance (.015+) in the arc filter when in HPCC it was banging the ballscrews to much
my filter is set to a total tol. of .001 now or i just use points for SGI on the makinos
i have never had any of those alarms
+1
its not that bad
i can see why you have to "sign up" that way just a simple guest or competition cant see what we would like to see as users

hey peeps
im using a custom file undefined tool and the backplot shows the tool retracting
well when the tool plowed thru the part we found out its not retracting (shows it in cimco backplot) its like its stuck on keep tool down????
so i thought post issue, but when i use a standard endmill it retracts so it has to do with the custom tool
i checked all my settings and things look good
any ideas on how i can fix this problem
TIA
WHAT!!!!!
YOU are the programmer, they are the operators
they run what YOU program
if they dont like it tell em "there is the door and dont let it hit you in the a$$ on your way out"
thanks once again cnc apps guy1
i thought when predator came in to upgrade our dnc that they would know how to set this all up
turns out they dont and are looking into how to set it up
im just trying to keep the project moving
i can see our 2 kitamuras using filezilla now
now on to the makinos
i know 1 for sure does not have a data server (from your book cnc apps)but has fast ethernet (getting quote for the data server board)
the pro5 should have it i hope.....
and the saga continues
ok so these are 2 separate things here
i will have to do some research inside the machines and see whats going on
so if i turn on channel 5 and it tells me "data out of range" then no data server
it will let me change to channel 9 so i have a ethernet board?
hope this makes sense
yes we have the ethernet boards in the machines and data storage
so if they wont show up on the network how will predator ever see them then?
sorry for all the dumb questions here this is uncharted territory for me
thanks for the info cnc apps guy1
