  1. Do a windows search for fonts a mcamx6 common will pop up, open box and drop the unzipped files in there. Thats how i did it atleast.
  2. Got a sample code from supplier and it worked great. thanks guys!
  3. No, I don't. I'm really not sure how all that works. Never dealt with it. Any suggestions?
  4. O yea, I'm using x5 and I'm on a Mitsubishi fa20s
  5. Ok so this is what I'm trying to do, I have a large block that has milled shapes on one side, then in the center of each shape I have a hole in which I want to pick up center on wire, then move to my starting burn hole location and cut this part out. I want to write a program where I can pick up my first hole in the part manually, then the wire will move to x... Y... And cut out my part. After this part is complete and I take it out, I would like the program to move to the next refrence hole and pick up center, then move to the x...y... Value and cut out this part also. I have a lot of parts in these blocks, I just don't want to have to manually pick up each reference hole on each part and start program over. So how can I add in the program to pick up center of a hole automatically then move to x...y...?
  6. ok,will try thanks for the help guys.

  8. Is there anyway to put a Moo maybe .030 before the slug drops out. I would like to be able to be at the machine as this happens so i can pull the slug out before finishing the cut. I was able to do this in Espree, but not sure how in MC. Thanks

  10. I am trying to create letters on a surface i revolved, I was able to place my letters where i wanted them and project them onto the surface, but i am not sure how to make my letters raided up from the surface. I am wanting to machine the rad. and leave the letters raised about .05. Thanks
  11. Mastercam U is a pretty nice tool for learning, It covers quite a bit of the basics and tool paths in the level one. The advanced mastercam U covers alot of the high speed, and 3d milling apps.
  12. FBM drill worked good to show me my vector lines in diff angled holes, but FBM mill is a waste of time in my opinion.
  13. The hole i am reaming is 4 in. long. I roughed it out with a emill. So i figured reaming would get me within spec easier.
  14. Never heard of these, Any certain brands you would reccomend?
  15. I had used 300 rpm with 3ipm feed. dont care if it took longer just needed good finish.
