  1. Does anybody have a source on this? @MorganBrittany4 https://t.co/BrAnLRNZmg

  2. RT @SeanKD: When #Clintoning goes wrong and you accidentally let slip the truth.

  3. Tool plane. Yes, that's how I'm doing it now. Just seems like it would be an easy thing to spit out absolute subprograms for a 2-dimensional feature.
  4. No offsets, I'm just rotating in A and calling the sub every 30 degrees.
  5. I'm using the mpmaster post on a VMC with 4th axis to program simple slots at 30 increments around a part. Is there any easier way to post out absolute subprograms? Currently, I'm posting it with incremental subprograms so the main program is correct then posting it with absolute so I can cut and paste the first absolute subprogram. Otherwise, I just have 12 of the same subprograms with different numbers. We do this daily and it's alot of time spent doing these little edits.
  6. Not really the worst, but kinda funny: I saw a guy hit the spindle start button on a mori horizontal while he was holding the coax indicator with his other hand. The speed was set to 10000. Fried the coax indicator and left the operator a lil shaky for the rest of the night. You'd be surprised how long it takes to find the stop button at a time like that.

  9. 2 min 23 seconds Dell Precision T7400 Dual Xeon quad-core 2.0 Ghz 8 gig DDR3 Win 7 pro 64 bit awwwwww yeaaaaahhhhh
  10. I'm in the market for a good backplotting program to use for 4-axis and eventually 5-axis programs. I used to use Predator when I was programming with NX. Anybody know of a better one?
  11. I'm having problems with my curve 5axis. I'm using it to finish some pocket walls after roughing with axis substitution. The toolpath looks great and looks good in verify, but when I post it, I get nothing that makes any sense. The tool runs about an inch away from the walls and around .100 up too high in z. I've done this many times before without problems. This is the first time in X5. Doubt that's the problem, I'm sure there's something I'm missing. Has anybody had similar problems that could help me out? I'm using the generic fanuc post.
  12. @mayday >Whens the last time anyone tried C axis contours on the sub spindle? let alone the main nuf said♦ I run C axis contours on the main spindle all the time. I think it works beautifully. Maybe I'm just doin real easy parts tho.☻☻☻
  13. That's what I was afraid of. I don't mind paying for a post, I just don't want to get burned by buying from my reseller. Is there another place to buy posts from? One that would work with me and get it right?
  14. I've got a good handle on programming the P codes myself. The applications engineer is here right now. I'm just trying to get Mastercam to do a little more of the work, or at least post some useable code.
  15. Does anybody have any resources or insight on programming wait codes for a dual-turret machine? Just started running our Okuma LU-35. I'm doin allright rewriting the programs to run on the machine manually, but that's not why I bought a cam system... I'm assuming it has something to do with the misc integers but not sure. Also, sorry to ask, but does anybody know where to get a good post for this machine. I got several from my reseller but none of them actually post code the machine will run. Unfortunately, they really don't know much as far as posts, support or training. I guess they only specialize in sales. Thank you. ☺☺☺
