  1. Woodruff Rd is murder. I would need an extra $5 an hour to drive it everyday.
  2. How about these. Techniks or these. Rego-Fix
  3. After installing X3, I get the no Sim found error at start up. I can not start X2 MR2 SP1 either. I ran the haspx exe and is says HASP found. I've tried uninstalling, redownloading, and reinstalling without any luck. Has anyone else seen this issue?
  4. quote: The old Sandvik and Kennametal tool catalogs were removed for X3 and have been replaced by new catalogs. Kewl!
  5. I have edited the mplmaster post to out put the correct code for lathe stock advance. The problem I am having is where it outputs the code. For this example the lathe stock advance is the first tool path operation. If I do not select USE TOOL STOP, it outputs the code before pheader$. If I do select USE TOOL STOP, it outputs the code between lsof$ and ltlchg0$ of the next tool path operation. Is there a way to specify where to output this code? This seems to only be an issue when it is the first tool path. Thanks,
  6. Yes, under tool nose radius for the tool number you want to offset enter the radius offset and enter 0 or 9 for tool direction. 0 or 9 is for center of tool.
  7. We have DNC Max5 with 32 machines. We are not currently running NC-Base. All machines are wireless. Moxa units at the machines and a Cisco access point in the sky. DNC Max service runs on a single PC but is backed up to the network nightly. We also have three clients floating around the shop.
  8. Chris_B, Depinding on how your machine parameters are set, you might can use all mazatrol offsets. The way ours are setup I use all mazatrol offsets except for end mills. For end mills I use the fanuc type offset page and set direction to a 0 or 9. HTH.
  9. quote: If you are using an NVidia card, please make sure the "use unified back/depth buffer" setting is UN-CHECKED This seems to have fixed it on my machine. Thanks
  10. Can I update my v9 setup sheet, or do I need to get a new one through Inhouse?
  11. +1 to Jimmy. Just used those settings on a Fusion 640 MT, and worked fine.
  12. we ran short and long runs on our LaBlond Makino cell (2 A55's with 15 pallets) for 14 years until a business decision was made to sell them off. The great thing about this type of system is you can leave more dedicated fixturing on the machine which cuts set up time way down.
  13. I think there are two differant types of cells at issue here. One being a work cell and the other being a machining cell. What James has is a cell where two or more HMC's are linked together with a "train" that moves any number of pallets back and forth between operator stations, holding racks, and the machines. A work cell can have many types of machines in it to improve the flow between the machines.
  14. Sorry I havent responded today its been pretty wild here. Katie, I did get your email. CR thats exactly what I do, but with the Integrex I have to possition the cut off over the part before the sub-spindle move. I'll get With Jimmy next week and let him fix me up. He has been nothing but first class with us.(and Katie too).
  15. Jimmy, I'll send you some code I wrote manually in the morning. I left work with out checking my mail, so I dont know if Katie did. You should recieve our check for maintenace tomorrow.
  16. Thanks Harry. Yes the post handles every thing I've thrown at it. I'm just not sure how to go about setting up the bar pull and cut off. I've figured out how to do a slug transfer between chucks with the help of the tutorials. The post uses #500, that you set manually durring set up, for the pick off location and work shift. If anybody has this type of file for any lathe, it would be a big help to me.
  17. I have an Integrex 200IISY w/ Fusion 640. Jimmy says I need to get to know you guys and post any questions here too.
  18. What I would like to see is a lathe file with a bar pull with the sub-spindle , then part off , and then transfer sub-spindle home to complete 2nd operation. I did a search on this topic and the best reply was from Glenn Stephens saying he found it best to set up your post to handle most of it. The post I have was supplied by Jimmy Wakeford and seems to do this with a normal slug transfer. I am new to Mastercam Lathe and any help will be appreciated.
  19. I have a question for any Mazatrol guru’s out there concerning automatic cutter radius compensation. I am contouring the OD of a part on the sub-spindle side on a Mazak Integrex 200sy with out c axis option. The part calls out for a .250 +/- .010 radius on an inside corner. Because of the depth of cut I don’t want to use a mill smaller than ½ inch. The result I get is a radius of .300 .I am programming in the XY plane and have tried a .250 arc, 90 deg. X Y move, and 90 deg. X Y with .250 final corner specified with the same results. I don’t know if there is a parameter related to this, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
  20. Dave, thanks for the info. Hopfully before long I can leave possitive feed back about the post.
  21. I'm sorry if this post was out of line. The only prolem I have is not with our resller but with my boss who says I have to get three quotes for every thing we puchase. From reading previous topics about the Integrex post, I think our quote is very reasonable. I just wished my boss seen it that way.
  22. is it common practice to compare prices among differant resellers or to purchase every thing through the one you purchased mastercam through? we have a quote on a post for our new integrex but i was wondering if we could price check others.
  23. How do I change G54 to G54.1 P1 ?
