  2. Jay I kinda made a new folder in the "unspecified uploads" folder that I used for this thread Sorry man.
  3. Ok, for all those still wanting James files, I have placed them in the "unspecified uploads" folder in the folder titled "new folder" cuz i am an idiot and didnt relize i could do that. So they are there right now. Thanks again James....
  4. To the best of my knowledge there is no setting. You just create an arc about the spline. Set your Z depth to the plane of the spline, create ard, 3 points. Then take one endpoint, then the midpoint, then the oposite endpoint. With the file that you were using I had to break your spline into "many lines" because of the way it was drawn. Then you go from there. Create the arcs on the different splines, then trim them together and there you go. You will have a smooth true toolpath. The hole process for your file took me about 3 minutes, after you become comfortable with it, it goes very quick.
  5. ahem...James....I wouldnt mind seeing them.... hint hint hint
  6. Ok John, I have looked at it, and I may know what you are talking about now. I have put 243toolfab.MC9 in the solids folder, it is right under the one you put in there. What I did as you can see on level 3 is create arcs about your splines. I have found it hard to get good path off a spline so I create arc's. I was shown how to do this a while back hopefully this will help (thanks Jay). Look at level three, let me know if this is what you need and let me know. Then I can explain how to do that. If not, let me know and we can try the next thing. quote: Thanks again for all your help Help and be helped, that is what this place is about!!
  7. can you put a sample on the FTP for us to look at? BTW, welcome to the forum!!!
  8. you are saving them as .sldprt's and still having issues?
  9. Have you tried to save your SW part as an .sldprt file and use the parasolid converter in MC? That is what I use. I dont have any issues.
  10. What versions of each software are you running?
  11. Nominal, what version you running and how long have you been using it? This is what I have, it took a long arse time to learn, but I realy dig it now. The learning curve is silly tho. Who did your install?
  12. I didnt think it would actaully come out but this is pretty cool. Jason Mraz Live at The Eagles Ballroom was taped last year at the club I work at night. Kinda wish it was Pennywise, Drop Kick Murphy's, or Godsmack, but its Jason Mraz and I think it is still kewl. It was a great show, there weere lots of specail guests, John Popper from Blues Traveler being my favorite guest of the night. I just saw that and thought it was kewl.
  13. Bullines, I am building a box for a SW seat. I saw this card on SW's site as one that supports "real video" the cartoonists want that so they can look at there parts in a prettier fashion than they have been I wanted to see if the card was cheeper other places than getting that upgrade thru Dell. Dell is a hardware partner with Solidworks, so I want to go that route and try to save some money if I can.
  14. I know what I want, but I want to know were you all buy your cards. Were is the best place to get them online for the best value. I am looking at this card 128MB PCIe x16 nVidia Quadro FX 1300, Dual Monitor DVI or VGA Capable for our cartoonists to use for there SW seats. Any links or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all
