thanks for the reply jay. I modified an old fadal post file I had and now get the results I was looking for which was just program number, x,y locations and m99 to close file.

I did not put it there. I went looking for it there. No I haven't looked through all the other folders for it yet, thought maybe someone had removed it for some reason.

the quality of china built molds (or korean for that matter) doesn't threaten us. I've yet to see any that came in and ran "out of the box"

robk: I do all the pockets,guided ejectors,cavity pin holes, etc. here so don't tell my boss you can do it cheaper or I may end up looking for a job!!

The biggest problem (if you want to call it that) I have encountered is most of the high post guys especially iskander and company are so damn smart it takes me a while to understand all that is said. Maybe if I keep at it it will rub off on me and someday some newbe will think I;m too damn smart. HA HA happy happy all

Jayman: I have the same problem often. Also can't pick certain faces. toggle your shadeing and rotate your part. Always figured it was my vid card.

+1 to hardmill. I never had a lesson and still have ver 3.12 loaded on the old computer I use to drip feed from. There is a lot I don't know but I get by. Have a good week-end all..... its michelobe time

Billy that only works if ev has solids right. Learning to manipulate wireframe and applying surfaces is a well learned art for those who can't afford the solids key. I have the only solids key in "the back" of the shop so guess whose puter gets cut in on when the surfaces won't work ?
