I get the offsets in the data server but I can not figure out how to get it to send to my server.

Does anyone know how to send the tool length offsets from the control to my server? I want to know what format it would put it in if you could. I want to be able to set my length offsets offline and input them into a text file or what the machine wants and import them into the control.

I have a mori M45 and I am trying to find out if there is a m or g code that will put the machine in Nutrual. Does anyone have any idea?

I am trying to post and I keep getting a message that says warning-post rotary axis assignment ('rot_on_x') overwritten by operation. I can not remember how to get rid of it.

When I use transform it is defaulted to copy. Is there a way to set to move as a default?

Has anyone had a problem with losing all there operations. I was programming this morning and X3 locked up. I lost all my operations so I was just going to reopen the file and I accidentally saved and lost everything I did this morning.

That is what I don't want to do. I started doing that but if my guys need to make any adjustments then you have to change the drawing that you made. That is very time consuming. I was hoping there was a way to add it in the parameters page.

I have two questions.

Question #1:

In the Mastercam parameters for a tool I would like to have more options. Let’s say you have a 1/8 ball end mill, on a 1/8 ball end mill there would be a reach of ½ inch and then has a 17 deg angle to the shank dia. On the parameters I would like to have the ability to enter that in. Would that be something that is possible?

Question #2:

Custom holders, I would like to have several files that can be called. I was thinking that in the parameters page for your tool there is a box called chuck. If you could type in the holder that you would be using then Mastercam would get that holder. I have different holders and would love to have them shown exactly as they are in verify.

I know that Mastercam looks for the file called holder when you want to show the holder during verify. What I would like to see if possible is a way to have Mastercam look at different holders that I would call up for that tool.

I got everything working but now it rounds off numbers. 3/8 comes in as .38 on the dia. Is there a way to change that?

My biggest mistake is not paying attention to this forum enough. I learn from my mistakes and now I am reading and asking.

I really have been having a great time at work setting up X+. The biggest plus about it is that you can customize it to my shop. I can put all the information one one page.

I went to download the x+ from links above and it is another language. I need it in english.

I want to know more about x+. Where do I look to see all the options you can us it for. I keep hearing everyone talk about different options that are new to me.
