We typicaly run a low pressure PVC, PP, etc. So all the set up sheets reflect a zero value for fill and hold positions, PSI and time values. We fill by turning the screw and (for lack of a better word) uze it in slowly so we don't damage the cables/wires/resistors, etc.

Here's one! Guesss what they have the toolmaker (me) out at the press trying to run a mold. I'm running a 2 cacity mold in a shuttle press. It's small part each part is .7 grams and the runner is about 2 1/2" long. The part is poly carbonite (PC). any idea's where to set the fill at? pos. PSI, and time? thanks, sorry its off topic. Paul

Is anyone out there running a tree mill. I'm having trouble posting electrode programs to my machine. I can send ok but i get an error trying to shorten my programs by using the total tolerance settings>filter settings on 2;1 with create arcs in XY,XZ,XY all on and one way filtering on! Any idea's?

I'll look at my settings and get back to you. It was hard getting it to run ok.

Is anyone using the new dell dual core computers? Mine is the Precision 390. I'm having a few issues with version 9. When I hit level it locks up mastercam. Even the boys at mastercam are stumped.

I'm using V9.1 and cutting in the mill. I'm cutting an electrode with surface finish constant scallop,it keeps erroring out at the machine "Z axis helical lead word required". I'm sure I ran into this before and had to change something in my post but I can't remember. Any suggestions.....down!

Hello forum long time no visit. How is everbody doing? I am running Mastercam Version 9.1, Mastercam X2, and SolidWorks 7 SP2 on a new Dell Precision 390 (DOU Core 2) with the NVIDIA Fx3450 256MB card it installed by Dell. I'm having trouble with it crashing relativly small mastercam files. It shuts down Mastercam and I loose my drawing. Any advise? Better video card recommendation? Does anyone remember a Pete's Pic information about video cards? II might have the wrong name. But he mentioned a "horsepower pic" and a 'wallet friendly pic" Anyone recall this? Is it still around? Dell also has 2 other cards availeable as options for this DUO Core 2 system. One is a Fx4500 512MB the other a Fx3500 256Mb... Crashing hourly. Paul

What is a resellers job? Are they to provide service? And what does that entitle me to? Are they suppose to write me a new post for X? Are they to train me with X? Anxiuos for everyone to jump on board this one! One more question for Mastercam owners...(CNC Software, inc.) Are you going to support (in the form of updates) version 9 anymore? I have the 128MB nVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 and it works great....my 2 cents worth! (mastercam Wallet friendly pick)
