Hi guys here's an update then on to a new trode.
I cut to a solid, so there were no surfaces to check. My solid came up with no flaws.
I changed my gap settings to 500% and un checked my retract. And also my advance setting to 500%.
These things did it! Thanks all!
Have a good day...Where's my "X"? rrr
Hi guys,
I just got to work and tried these idea's...
I always check "optimize my cut order", so I tried the gap settings. And they worked!
Between the advanced setting "over all edges" and the gap setting of "500%" its a go...the way I want it to go!
Thanks again guys.
I agree Murlin! WOW
Thanks Heavy Metal, " step over to actual value" I'm not sure how to do that one.
Thad, thanks I do use the zig zag, I also tried one way, still the same results.
Trevor, I'll have to try that loop idea but for now I need to just get these electrodes done.
Back to my topic, nothing so far seems to work, at least easily or noticibly! (sorry about the spelling). Hear is even a worst one surface finish left-over. The cutter continuely jumps up and down. Maybe its just something I have to live with (with mastercam) but it seems to me it should just stay in the cut.
thanks all.
I'm cutting electrodes and its not a big deal but how do I keep my cutter in contact with the graphite at all times? Right now it wants to jump up and down to much (in my opinion).
(I'm cutting in surface finish contour mode!)
Thanks up front forum>>>>

I think I lost my scrupples>sp?
I am trying to do a boolean remove with and undercut...can it be done?
One more...How do you do a boolean remove with a solid "shell"? Or how do I make a solid out of a solid sheet shell?
Struggling today...lost...
Thanks in advance all!
Jim, I got my son's off the mastercam FTP site.
And have been having a blast cutting a few on the cnc, But he insist's he has to make them by hand in shop class. I told him to donate it to the class!
