Re-installed this morning and everything is good so far. Since I will not be using the migration tool this time. What files should I use the update folder for and what should I stay away from?

So is my only fix here to do the uninstall and not do the migration? Sounds like this should be a warning to all NOT to do the migration! I was just following the transition guide.......

Removing the config file did not work.....

Ok after doing the regedit mcam launches!...ty Verify still does not work. I am going to try the dragging the config file out now.

Just tried a repair and still will not launch. There were 4 .ini files and now there are only 3

Just did that and now X7 will not even launch without crashing.....

I saw you post that in another thread and tried it with no success. I will try again just in case...

Hello all! Just installed X7 and when I try to verify I get an error. Did a search and i didn't see my error in any of the other threads. Any ideas? Mike

I was thinking it was maybe something in my settings but I can't find any differance between my X5 and X6 settings.

I tried that but it looks worse. I do have all surfaces on but have them on in X5 also.

Hi all I use F12 (hardcopy) to print the screen for all of my setup sheets. I moved on to X6 this week and I'm having some issues with printing the screen. See in attached images the differance. Note both files have all the same levels and shading on. When I print in X6 everything prints out shaded. In X5 This was not an issue. I would like the result to come out like X5. Much less printer ink and a cleanner look. Let me know any ideas Thanks Mike

Hi All I am totaly new to Horizontal machining. We are getting a new Mori NHX4000 with a MAPPS IV control (I know nothing about this control). This will be a single pallet changer with future palns to add CPP system. List of options we are getting: 1: 120 tool capicity 2: Full 4th axis rotary table 3: Through spindle coolant 4: Optical spindle touch sensor (Renishaw) 5: Table touch sensor (Metrol) 6: SSS control (Not sure what this is yet) Can you guys tell me some must haves or any other info your willing to share? And also do I go to my reseller for a post or do we try and get one with the purchase of the machine? Look forward to hearing your thoughts Thanks Mike

Figured it out. The toolpath was a 3d swept. The code never aloud the machine to reach full feedrate. Thanks again for taking a look! Mike

Hi all! I am running a job that has a sub call to the flash card (m198). Is there a parameter that I need to address to get the machine to run at my programmed feedrate? The toolpath that is running off of the card is maxing out at 30IPM. fanuc 31i control using G5.1 Thnaks for taking a look! Mike

That's why I'm wondering if it is a window 7 thing. We do not have an issue with our XP seat.

Hi All Came upon an isuue today. When I double click in a cell to change a value the minus sign will not highlight. I can drag across the value I want to change and all is fine but I'm used to double clicking. Take a look at the attachment. Anyone else see this?

Ok got it working! IT guy plugged in wrong port! Thanks again for all the reply's Stayed with default settings: stop bit 2 data bits 7 parity: even baud rate 4800 nothing in the triggers

There is only 1 COM port on the PC

Thanks all for the reply's.....no luck yet.... I put a % sign at the beginning of my program and added it to the trigger. Still no luck. My post does not put a % sign at the beginning of my programs so I'm not sure that is my problem. And before I swithed to this new PC i did not have any problems...
