  1. This is our 1st lathe with live tooling. Can't wait to start programming it. I think i'll be asking a lot of question.
  2. Y axis it moves the turret up and down, It also come with Windows XP embedded. Scott
  3. We just got a new Mori Seiki NL1500Y Lathe. The controls are Mitsubishi with the Mori Mapps 2. Anybody else used the Mitsubishi controls??? No opinon yet on it just fired it up today. Scott

  10. Thanks guys, I thought we should run it slow, but I asked a couple of guys here and they said running it fast might be better, I didn't like there ideas. and this give me a chance to get involved in this great forum Thanks again, Scott
  11. I guess what I mean is should it be ran at a fast feed rate 19.6 at 2000 rpm or a slow feed rate 2 at 204 rpm. Just don't know where to start at. Thanks, Scott
  12. Hello all, I got some small parts with a 1.00 (.0394) X 102 unm thru it's .060" thick in 304L. I was wondering how fast I need to run the tap at. Thanks for the help and this forum rocks!! Thanks, Scott
